180-Day Free Exchanges
Need to swap your item for something else? We offer free exchanges within 180 days of purchase:
  • In-Store Exchanges: Simply bring the item back to any Big Lots store along with your receipt for a free exchange.
  • Online Exchanges: For items purchased online, exchanges can be done by mail or in-store at no extra charge. Please include your order confirmation for easy processing.


Return Conditions
Items must be in their original condition, unused, and in their original packaging, with all tags and accessories intact.
Items that are damaged or defective upon arrival are eligible for a full refund or exchange.


Non-Returnable Items
Some items are non-returnable, including:
Opened or used mattresses and bedding products.
Gift cards.
Final sale or clearance items marked as non-returnable.


Refund Process
In-Store Refunds: For in-store returns, refunds will be issued in the original form of payment.
Online Refunds: For online returns, refunds will be processed within 3-7 business days after receiving the returned items, credited to the original payment method.


Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact our customer service team immediately. We will assist with a free return or exchange.
