The Dyson PH04 is a multifunctional air-treatment device: it works as an air purifier, a humidifier, and a fan combining three home-comfort functions in a single sleek unit. It’s designed to improve indoor air quality, manage humidity, and provide cooling airflow as needed.

Advanced Air Purification

HEPA H13 + Activated Carbon + Catalytic Filtration: The PH04 uses a 360° glass HEPA filter that traps 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns (dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke, etc.), plus an activated carbon layer that neutralizes gases, VOCs, and odors. 

Formaldehyde Destruction: Unlike many purifiers, PH04 has a catalytic filter that detects and continuously destroys formaldehyde a common indoor pollutant released by furniture, paints, varnishes, cleaning products, and building materials — converting it into harmless water and CO₂.

Fully Sealed HEPA H13 System: The entire airflow path is sealed to HEPA H13 standard, ensuring no leaks or bypass so pollutants stay trapped inside. 

Hygienic Humidification (with Clean Water)

UV-C Water Cleanse: Before humidifying, the water tank is sterilized with ultraviolet light to kill 99.9% of bacteria — providing clean, hygienic humidity (unlike “mist” humidifiers that may spread bacteria). 

Continuous Humidification: With a 1-gallon water tank and efficient water management, the unit can run for up to 36 hours without needing a refill. 

Auto-Humidity Adjustments: In “Auto” mode, PH04 monitors ambient humidity and air quality, then adjusts its humidification (and purification) automatically to reach the target comfort level. 

Smart Air Circulation & Cooling

Air Multiplier™ Technology: Once air is purified and humidified, PH04 uses Dyson’s Air Multiplier system to project the treated air throughout the room — even into corners — to ensure even coverage. 

Fan / Cooling Mode: In warmer weather, PH04 doubles as a fan — circulating cool, humidified air to make the room more comfortable. 

Multiple Airflow Settings: It offers several modes: a direct fan mode (with oscillation 0–90°), a “Breeze” mode that mimics a gentle natural airflow, and a “Diffused / Backward airflow” mode for purification/humidification without direct cooling. 

Smart Automation & Easy Control

Auto Air Quality Monitoring: Built-in sensors constantly monitor air pollutants (particles, VOCs, formaldehyde), humidity, and other conditions. The device reacts automatically — increasing purification or humidification when it detects poor air. 

Real-time Reporting & App Control: With the companion app (and via Wi-Fi), you can monitor air quality, humidity, filter status — and even control the device remotely. Voice-assistant control (e.g. with smart home systems) is also supported. 

Night Mode & Sleep Timer: A “quiet / night” mode dims the display and runs the unit at its quietest — useful for bedrooms. You can also set a sleep timer for scheduled shut-offs (15 minutes to 9 hours). 

Low-Maintenance Design

Simple Filter & Water Maintenance: Filter replacement alerts appear via the display/app; the filters (HEPA + carbon) are straightforward to swap annually or when prompted. 

Deep-Clean Cycle for Water System: To prevent mineral build-up (especially in hard water areas), PH04 includes a built-in deep-clean cycle to rinse and clean the water system.
